Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering methods. The firm employs round 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.

“Geveke has sturdy engineering capability, offering complete industrial pump options from concept to commissioning,” mentioned Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is predicted to be accomplished through the second quarter 2022.
The major part of the acquired companies may have its base in the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be a part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
