Emerson has launched the Fisher WhisperTube Modal Attenuator for noisy gas or vapour purposes, which provides noise discount in compressible fluid service for improved worker safety, with no impact on course of flow.

The modal attenuator from Emerson is a full-bore system providing 15-decibel sound suppression to reduce noise inside pipes produced by sources upstream, such as management valves or other devices. It is installed downstream of these gadgets rather than a pipe spool piece, it generates no further pressure drop, and has no impact on process circulate.
Until now, all options have generated important pressure drop, lowered flow, and/or launched obstructions. This has led some customers to put in acoustic insulation to pipe sections to scale back noise, however this can be pricey and cumbersome to put in, and it does nothing to reduce back inner piping noise. The modal attenuator addresses these and different issues with a drop-in answer, bettering worker safety and regulatory compliance, while lowering the chance of harm to downstream tools due to excessive noise levels inner to piping.
Leading applications for the modal attenuator embrace these where upstream course of flows are modified by control valves, strain reduction valves, pumps, compressors and different units that generate noise. Many of those units must be installed in lengths of piping with no flow restrictions downstream, and the modal attenuator works nicely in these purposes as a result of it introduces no such restrictions.
In addition, the modal attenuator does not introduce an obstruction into the piping, so it may be utilized in purposes where particulates are suspended in course of flows, and/or where pigging is required for cleaning and maintenance.
เกจวัดแรงดันลมราคา are supplied in sizes from 2–12 in, with American Society of Mechanical Engineer (ASME) flange scores of Class one hundred fifty, 300 and 600. Pressure rankings match the flange ranking sizes, and the utmost temperature is 700°F (371° C).
