Orders for dual-fuel LNG vessels broke all information in 2021 with a total of 240 ships globally. That is more than the earlier four years mixed. And เกจวัดแรงดันเครื่องกรองน้ำ seems set to proceed unabated in 2022.
According to data from classification society DNV, orders for 56 dual-fuel LNG vessels have been placed in January and February.This change in demand has created quite a buzz at Svanehøj. The Danish marine pump specialist quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell gasoline pumps in 2021, and there are tons of indications that sales may improve even further in 2022.
Svanehøj has simply secured an order for gas pump techniques for 15 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7,000 TEU), which are to be constructed at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding. The complete of 30 deepwell fuel pumps shall be delivered from August 2022 to January 2024. The order is amongst Svanehøj’s largest regarding LNG gasoline so far. It is the second time inside the final year that this buyer has chosen Svanehøj as the provider of LNG gasoline pump systems. In July 2021, they signed a contract for deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15,000 TEU).
“Until a couple of years ago, using LNG as a marine gas was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are actually seeing a sharp improve in gasoline pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and car carriers. We had been chosen as the provider of gas pump techniques for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020-21. And we goal to increase our market share further within the coming years”, says Johnny Houmann, Chief Sales Officer, Svanehøj.
Large funding in lean manufacturing and new equipment
To assist the green transition of the maritime business, Svanehøj is currently investing more than DKK 10 million in upgrading its manufacturing services in Denmark. A new manufacturing unit layout with manufacturing cells and robotics will help Svanehøj’s bold growth technique and scale back lead times for all merchandise.

Svanehøj has entered 2022 with a brand new strategy and a target of doubling its turnover to DKK 1 billion ($152 million) by the end of 2026. In addition to gasoline pumps for LNG, LPG, and carbon-neutral fuels, Svanehøj sees nice potential in creating pump solutions for the infrastructure to be constructed round Power-to-X and carbon capture and storage (CCS).
